Yes, ChatGPT can build your website.

It just can't put it online, connect your domain, or touch the thing again once it's live. That's the part we do — and afterwards you run the whole site from ChatGPT.

Already have a website? See what it looks like on BlinkPages.

Or book a demo and we'll walk you through it.

No page builder. No CMS. No delay.

From idea to a live website

The website isn't the hard part. Everything after it is.

ChatGPT will happily write you a site in an afternoon. Then you meet the wall: there's nowhere to put it, nothing connects it to your domain, and asking ChatGPT to change the live version gets you a polite explanation that it can't.

  • Hosting you don't choose or run. We serve your site from Cloudflare's global edge network, with SSL and security handled. Nothing to configure, nothing to renew.
  • Your own domain, connected for you. Visitors land on your address — not a chat link, not a subdomain with somebody else's name in it.
  • A site ChatGPT can actually change. On its own, ChatGPT's GitHub connection only reads. We set your site up so Codex can open a real draft, with a preview link, that publishes when you say so.

Then you run it from ChatGPT.

Building the site is the easy part. Living with it is where every site you've owned went stale — so here, every change after launch is another thing you ask for.

  • Describe the change, in plain language. “Add a pricing page.” “Make the hero shorter.” “Put the testimonial above the fold.” No commands to learn and no special wording.
  • It lands as a draft, never on the live site. Every change gets its own preview URL you can open, sit with, and send to someone else before anyone else sees it.
  • You publish, not the AI. Nothing goes live until you approve it. For small fixes you don't need ChatGPT at all — click the text on your live site and type.
  • No page builder, no CMS, no dev ticket. Nothing to log into, no plugin to update, no drag-and-drop grid to fight when you just want to change a sentence.

Making changes to your site has never been easier.

Say what you want (just like you'd ask a coworker). See it on a draft copy of your site. Nothing goes live until you approve it.

For simple edits, just click the text and type

Instant Edits skip the AI entirely. Select text on your live site and retype it, or drop a new image on top of the old one. And because the editor is your website itself, it works from any browser — your desktop or your phone.

Use ChatGPT all day? It can edit your site too.

Your BlinkPages site is a standard open-source Astro project, the kind ChatGPT knows well. Connect your ChatGPT account, and make edits easily (using the skills, MCP servers, and workflows you've already built). Each copy gets its own preview URL, published on your command.

Your site loads before visitors can blink 😉

Every BlinkPages site is built using the popular Astro framework and served from Cloudflare's edge network. Hosting, SSL, and security are handled for you.

Questions, answered

  • Can ChatGPT build a website?

It can write one. Describe what you want and ChatGPT will produce the pages and the code, and it's genuinely good at it. What it can't do is put that anywhere a visitor can reach — no hosting, no domain, no way to keep it live. That last mile is what BlinkPages does, so what ChatGPT writes ends up at your own address instead of in a chat window.

  • Can ChatGPT edit my live website?

Not on its own, and this trips most people up. Connecting GitHub to ChatGPT is read-only — it can answer “what does my pricing page say?” but it cannot change a thing. The half that writes is Codex, the part of ChatGPT that works on code. On a BlinkPages site, Codex opens a draft with its own preview link, and nothing goes live until you approve it. The full setup walkthrough →

  • Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?

For the hands-off version, yes. Codex ships with every ChatGPT plan, but the cloud mode this uses — where it does the work for you rather than on your own machine — needs Plus or above. You don't need an API key, a token, or anything else to configure. If you'd rather not run it yourself at all, send us the change on a call, by email, or in Slack and we'll do it.

  • What if I already built something with ChatGPT?

Send it over and we'll take a look. If it's a standard site we can usually bring it in and get it onto your domain; if it needs rebuilding we'll tell you straight rather than charge you to find out. Either way you end up on the same footing: a real site, on your domain, that you keep editing by asking.

  • Can I use Claude as well?

Yes — your site is a plain, open-source Astro project, so it isn't tied to one assistant. Plenty of people run both. The same page for Claude →

  • Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in plain language and BlinkPages makes the change. The open-source code is there if a developer ever wants it, but you never have to touch it.

  • Do AI-built sites all look the same?

No, and there's no design ceiling. Bring your brand guidelines, add the animations and interactions you want, or point us at a site whose look you love and we'll match it. Whatever the design calls for, your site can run it (this very site was built that way).

  • Am I locked in?

The opposite. Your site is a standard, open-source Astro project. Export it anytime, host it anywhere. More on how it's built →

  • What happens to my domain and my SEO?

They come with you. We point your existing domain at BlinkPages and migrate your pages so your URLs carry over and your search rankings are protected. Visitors won't notice anything except a faster site.
