What we don't do.

These plans are execution. They are not a creative agency, and pretending otherwise would only disappoint you later.

  • We don't decide what your site should say.

    You know your business and your buyers better than we ever will. You bring the message; we get it live.

  • We don't art-direct or rebrand you.

    Bring a design, a reference, or your brand guidelines and we'll build to them. What we won't do is invent a look and tell you it's yours.

  • We don't write your copy from a blank page.

    Point us at the source — a deck, a press release, an email you already sent — and we'll lay it up. Nothing about your business goes live that you haven't read.

  • We don't run ad campaigns.

    Media buying is a different business with different costs, and it's the one thing on this list we'd be worst at. We'll point you at someone good.

Questions, answered

  • What counts as one change?

    Something you can name in a sentence. “Swap the photo on the about page,” “take the old partner's logo off the footer,” “update the pricing table.” If it turns out to be bigger than it sounded, we tell you before we start, not after.

  • Is there a limit on how many changes I can send?

    There's no counter and no ticket allowance. What bounds it is that we work one thing at a time, in the order it arrives — so a normal month never hits a wall, and a month that runs far past what a plan assumes is a conversation we have with you before we do the work, not a surprise on an invoice.

  • Do you write my content or design my site?

    No, and that's deliberate. These plans are execution, not creative direction. You decide what the site says and how it should look; we're the people who make it happen and stay responsible for it. If you want someone to develop your message or your brand, you want an agency, and we're happy to recommend one.

  • How do I send you a change?

    However suits you. An email with a bulleted list, a screenshot with an arrow drawn on it, a forwarded thread, or a call. You don't have to write a brief and you don't have to learn a system.

  • What if I want to take it over myself later?

    Then you should. Move down to the self-serve plan any month and keep the same site, the same domain, and everything on it. We'll spend 45 minutes with whoever's picking it up and leave them a one-page written guide to how the site works. You can move back up any time, and you never need our permission to spend less.

  • Is there a contract?

    No. Every plan is month to month. Your site is a standard open-source Astro project on your own domain, and you can export the whole thing any day you like, including the day you leave.
